Hello readers! Another week of National Football League action has come to an end. The week that was Week 11 brought us some crazy storylines. Such storylines like Joe Burrow suffering a season ending injury, a comeback in Detroit, a blowout in Carolina, and a defensive battle in Cleveland. All those games and more in this week's recap post.
NFL Week 11 Freaky Stat
Daron Bland's fourth pick-six ties a record shared by Eagles Eric Allen (1993), Chiefs Jim Kearney (1972) and Oilers Ken Houston (1971) in a single season.NFL Week 11 Recap
The Ravens dominate the Bengals without Joe Burrow. Joe Burrow hit 11 of 17 passes for 101 yards with a touchdown pass to Joe Mixon in the 2nd quarter. He would leave the game with an injury to his wrist on his throwing hand after taking a huge hit. Jake Browning would come into the game but wasn't much of a factor with 8 of 14 passes for 68 yards with a touchdown pass to Ja'Marr Chase. Joe Mixon would provide some good yardage with 69 yards rushing with 16 carries. Cincinnati would get a modest 272 total yards in the game. Lamar Jackson handled his business in this game. He hit 16 of 26 passes for 264 yards for two touchdowns while rushing for 54 yards. Nelson Agholor and Rashod Batemen were the Ravens that caught those passes. Gus Edwards would put forth some scoring of his own while getting 61 yards for two touchdowns. It was a breakout game for Odell Beckham Jr. who has had a bit of a quiet season for the Ravens. During the 1st quarter Mark Andrews would go down with a season-ending ankle injury. Hopefully he will be alright as well as Joe Burrow as both are integral for both teams going into the season and future. If you also had NFL game being stopped because of a Drone on your bingo card, you sure got it. For the Bengals, they will drop to 5-5 on the season with an unknown future for the rest of the 2023 season. For the Ravens, they will improve to 8-3 with some cushion in the hotly-contested AFC North.

San Francisco takes care of business. Baker Mayfield would have an okay game as the passer hit 29 of 45 passes for 246 yards with a touchdown pass to Mike Evans and threw an interception in the game. The Mike Evans touchdown came in the 2nd quarter on a quick pass to Evans on the left side of the field that would cut the 49er lead to 10-7. Rashaad White would score the other touchdown on a 1-yard run up the right in the 4th quarter. White would get 30 yards rushing. Tampa would get 287 total yards in the game. He also tossed an interception in the game. Wilson would collide with head coach Robert Saleh in the sideline. Perhaps it was a side effect of Saleh coming to his senses and benching the quarterback. Tim Boyle hit 7 of 14 passes for 33 yards but also tossed an interception in the game. The Breece Hall touchdown would come on a 9-yard pass play that cut the Bills lead to a 16-6 score, they would miss on the 2-point conversion. Breece Hall had 23 yards rushing. Josh Allen had success in this game as he hit 20 of 32 passes for 275 yards with three touchdown passes and tossed an interception. The passer hit 17 of 31 passes for 190 yards with a touchdown pass to Puka Nacua but also tossed an interception. The Puka Nacua play would come on a 4-yard strike to the rookie that would cut the Seahawks lead to a 13-7 score. Denver would only get 295 total yards in the game as 249 of it would be from the air. Along with the Dobbs interception, the Broncos took advantage of two Vikings fumbles and recovered them and converted them into points. Wil Lutz would hit a perfect 5 for 5 on field goals, including a 52-yard field goal. For the Vikings, they drop to 6-5 and end their five-game winning streak dating back to a 19-13 win against Chicago. For the Broncos, they improve to 5-5 after starting at 1-5.

Chiefs turnovers and drops give the Eagles a measure of revenge. Jalen Hurts the passer didn't do much in the game as he hit 14 of 22 passes for 150 yards with an interception. Hurts the runner would do his most damage as he rushed for two touchdowns while getting 29 yards rushing. One of those touchdowns would come on a tush push play that lead to the game-winning touchdown. D'Andre Swift got a touchdown while getting 76 yards. Devonta Smith would have a majority of the receiving yards in this game as he caught six passes for 99 yards, including the 41-yard play that would lead to the touchdown run. Patrick Mahomes would have a trying game in the Kansas City rain as he hit 24 of 43 passes for 177 yards with two touchdowns to Travis Kelce and Justin Watson. Mahomes would also have an interception in this game. Isiah Pacheco got some good yardage in the game as he put up a respectable 89 yards rushing on 19 carries. A lot of Chiefs woes was the amount of pass drops in the game. Marquez Valdes-Scantling was targeted three times and caught no passes. He had a chance at redemption on a deep pass play that Scantling ultimately dropped that would've given the Chiefs a 1st and goal situation. Along with the interception, the Chiefs would fumble the ball on a pass caught by Travis Kelce. Philadelphia got 238 total yards while the Chiefs got 336 total yards in this one. For the Eagles, they move to 9-1 on the season with a good cushion in the division and conference. For the Chiefs, they drop to 7-3 with a big game against the Raiders next week.
