NFL 2024 Week 13 Recap

Hello readers! Another week of National Football League action has come to an end. The week that was Week 13 brought us some entertaining storylines. Such storylines like feasting on turkey, a time management controversy in Detroit, a botched snap in Kansas City, an ejection in Jacksonville

NFL Week 13 Freaky Stat

The Detroit Lions won a Thanksgiving game for the first time since 2016. Justin Jefferson has had five consecutive 1,000 receiving yard seasons since his debut in 2020. He joins Randy Moss, A.J. Green and Mike Evans.

NFL Week 13 Recap

Chicago 20, Detroit 23

Pick: Lions

The Lions survive against the Bears at Ford Field. Caleb Williams hit 20 of 39 passes for 256 yards with three touchdowns. All three of them happened in the 2nd half. DJ Moore caught one and Keenan Allen caught two of the touchdowns that Williams threw for scores. Dandre Swift had 11 carries for 39 yards and Caleb Williams had four carries for 39 yards as well. DJ Moore had eight catches for 97 yards in the game. The longest play went to both DJ Moore and Keenan Allen for 31-yard catches for the touchdowns. Chicago had 301 total yards in the game. Controversy in the game was the clock management by Chicago. After a Caleb Williams sack, the Bears didn't call a timeout and instead burnt time. It was another game where the Bears lost in a spectacular fashion. For the Bears they drop to 4-8 on the season.

Jared Goff had 21 of 34 passes for 221 yards with two touchdowns. Sam LaPorta had the two touchdowns from Goff. David Montgomery had 21 carries for 88 yards in the game. Jahmyr Gibbs had nine carries for 87 yards and had the longest run in the game with a carry that had 28-yard gain. Amon Ra St. Brown had five catches for 73 yards. The longest play in the game went to a Tim Patrick catch for a 30-yard gain. The Lions had 405 total yards in the game. It was a game where the points came in the first three quarters. It was more of a survive at the end of the 4th quarter and not put up more points in it. Fortunately the Bears were more inept at clock management than anything. Safe to say, the Lions faithful are happy.

TW: 1-0

NY Giants 20, Dallas 27

Pick: Cowboys

The Cowboys win in Turkey Day festivities in Dallas. Drew Lock hit 21 of 32 passes for 178 yards with an interception. The interception went for a pick-six for Dallas. Drew Lock had four carries for 57 yards with a touchdown and had a 28-yard run that was the longest play for the Giants. The 28-yard run almost went for a touchdown but it was out of bounds at the 1-yard line. Tyrone Tracy Jr. instead went for the touchdown. Tracy Jr. had nine carries for 32 yards in the game. Malik Nabers had eight catches for 69 yards. The longest pass play was 18 yards as both Nabers and Tyrone Tracy Jr. caught passes for that distance. The Giants had 247 total yards in the game and drop to 2-10 on the season.

Cooper Rush had 21 of 36 passes for 195 yards with a touchdown pass to Brandin Cooks. The Cowboys running game got going as Rico Dowdle had 22 carries for 112 yards with a touchdown and had a 22-yard run that was the longest rush for the Cowboys. Kavonte Turpin had four catches for 53 yards in the game to be the leading receiver for the Cowboys. The longest pass play went to Jake Tolbert who caught a pass for a 36-yard gain. The Dallas defense really got going as Demarvion Overshown had a pick-six on a Drew Lock pass in the 2nd quarter that went for a 23-yard score. At least they figured out a way to win. That awkward moment when they also have a two-game winning streak as well. The Cowboys had 317 total yards in the game and improve to 5-7 on the season as their playoff hopes are still alive.

TW: 2-0

Miami 17, Green Bay 30

Pick: Packers

A big first half gives Packers edge over Dolphins. Tua Tagovailoa hit 37 of 46 passes for 365 yards with two touchdowns. Tyreek Hill and De'Von Achane had the touchdowns that were thrown by Tua. Raheem Mostert had five carries for 19 yards in the game. It was a quiet day for the running game but they did try to get things going. Jonnu Smith had 10 catches for 113 yards in the game to be the leading receiver for the Dolphins. The longest play for the Dolphins was a 30-yard gain via a Tyreek Hill catch. The big thing for this game for Miami as it was a setback for them in trying to get to the playoffs. Buffalo now just needs a win against San Francisco to win the AFC East. It was also a chilly game, something that Tua Tagovailoa has yet to win in games where it was below 40 degrees Farenheit. Miami had 375 total yards in the game and drop to 5-7 on the season.

Jordan Love hit 21 of 28 passes for 274 yards with two touchdowns. Both of them went to Jayden Reed on 3 and 12 yard plays. Josh Jacobs had 19 carries for 43 yards and ran into the endzone for a 1-yard score. All three touchdowns happened in the 1st half which put the Pack at a 24-3 lead at halftime. The longest run was a Jayden Reed run for a 23-yard gain. Tucker Kraft had six catches for 78 yards in the game. The longest pass play was a Josh Jacobs catch for a 49-yard gain that didn't result in a touchdown. In general, the Packers put up points early and let the game go from there. The defense did bend a bit in the 2nd half but with a one-dimensional Miami team throwing the ball it meant that it was predictable to what Miami would do. It was a needed win to keep up with both Detroit and Minnesota in the NFC North. For the Packers, they had 388 total yards and improve to 9-3 on the season.

Next week:

Miami: vs NY Jets
Green Bay: @ Detroit (Thursday night)

TW: 3-0

Las Vegas 17, Kansas City 19

Pick: Chiefs

The Chiefs survive on a botched snap. Aidan O'Connell would make the start for the Raiders. he hit 23 of 35 passes for 340 yards with two touchdowns. Brock Bowers and Tre Tucker were the Raiders that caught the passes from O'Connell for scores. Sincere McCormick had 12 carries for 64 yards in the game. Brock Bowers was the leading receiver for the Raiders with 10 catches for 140 yards. A sort of breakout game for him as he really had been quiet for a part of the season. The longest play for the Raiders was a catch by Tre Tucker for a 58-yard gain for the touchdown. The Raiders last drive would start on their own eight yard line and would take them to the Chiefs 32-yard line. A spike by O'Connell would stop the clock and give Daniel Carlson the chance to upset the Chiefs at home. A botched snap that looked kind of low would happen and the Raiders would fall yet again to their rivals. For the Raiders they had 434 total yards in the game while dropping to a dismal 2-10.

Patrick Mahomes hit 26 of 46 passes for 306 yards with a touchdown pass to Justin Watson. Isiah Pacheco had returned to the starting lineup after missing games with an injury. Pacheco had seven carries for 44 yards. DeAndre Hopkins was the leading receiver with four catches for 90 yards and had the longest play in the game on a catch that went for a 34-yard gain. It was a quiet game for the offense yet again but the defense would do its part and keep the Raiders from scoring for a fair part of the game. They did bend a bit in the 2nd half. Matthew Wright would do the offense as he hit 4 of 5 field goals with a 42-yard attempt being the longest for him. Matt Araiza would hit five punts and two of them landed inside the 20-yard line. The Chiefs were favored by 13.5 points and somehow won it by two points. It kind of repeated a pattern throughout most of the season where the offense would do enough to win it. For the Chiefs, they had 329 total yards in the game and improve to 11-1. They also are the first team this season to clinch a playoff spot.

Next week:

Las Vegas: @ Tampa Bay
Kansas City: vs LA Chargers (Sunday night)

TW: 4-0

Houston 23, Jacksonville 20

Pick: Texans

The Texans win a big game in Jacksonville. CJ Stroud hit 22 of 34 passes for 242 yards with a touchdown. The touchdown went to Dalton Schultz. Joe Mixon had a solid day running the ball with 20 carries for 101 yards with a touchdown and had the longest run for the Texans on a 30-yard carry. Nico Collins had eight catches for 119 yards with a catch that went for a 40-yard gain to be the longest play for the Texans in the game. The game was somewhat in hand for the Texans as they had a 23-6 lead with 12:11 left in the game. The Jaguars would make it a close one with two consecutive touchdowns. it was a game where the Texans really needed to win to keep the Colts off their butts for the division title. They did their business and got a win. For the Texans, they improve to 8-5 and had 326 total yards in the game.

Trevor Lawrence started the game for the Jaguars. He hit 4 of 10 passes for 41 yards but had an interception in the game. Trevor Lawrence would leave the game after taking a brutal shot to the head by Texans linebacker Aziz Al-Shaair. It would result in an ejection, a brawl by the two teams and fans tossing water bottles at Al-Shaair. Mac Jones would come in relief and did well. he hit 20 of 32 passes for 235 yards with two touchdowns to Parker Washington and Brian Thomas Jr. Both of them happened in the 4th quarter. Travis Etienne had 13 carries for 46 yards in the game. Parker Washington had six catches for 103 yards in the game. The longest play for the Jaguars was a catch by Brian Thomas Jr for a 56-yard gain. The comeback fell short for sure and the Texans almost lost for sure. The hit by Al-Shaair was definitely uncalled for as Lawrence was sliding but the fans behavior was also uncalled for as well. NFL tickets are expensive and it makes you want to make a cake for the fan that threw the water bottle and write on it "Was it Worth it?" For the Jaguars, they had 373 total yards in the game and drop to 2-10 on the season.

Next week:

Houston: Houston
Jacksonville: @ Tennessee

TW: 5-0

Arizona 22, Minnesota 23

Pick: Vikings

Vikings 2nd half surge enough to get a win. Kyler Murray hit 31 of 45 passes for 260 yards with a touchdown to Marvin Harrison Jr. He had two interceptions in the game, one of them happening on the last Cardinals drive in the game. James Conner had 17 carries for 68 yards in the game. Kyler Murray had seven carries for 48 yards and had a 19-yard run that was the longest run play for the Cards. Trey McBride had 12 catches for 96 yards in the game. A busy day for him. The longest pass play for the Cardinals was a catch by Michael Wilson for a 22-yard gain. At one point, the Cardinals had 19-6 lead with 4:37 left in the 3rd quarter. After the scoring drive the Cardinals had two of three drives resulting in a turnover. You can't do that against the Vikings. Chad Ryland had five of six field goals in the game with a 40-yard attempt being the longest for him. For the Cardinals, they had 406 total yards in the game while dropping to 6-6 on the season.

Sam Darnold had 21 of 31 passes completed for 235 yards with two touchdowns. Aaron Jones had one and Johnny Mundt had the other touchdown for scores for the Vikings. The Vikings had three rushers that had 22 yards rushing with Sam Darnold, Aaron Jones and Cam Akers getting that mark. They must've been feeling 22 or listened to Taylor Swift. Justin Jefferson had a typical day with seven catches for 99 yards in the game and had the longest play for the Vikings with a 30-yard play via catch for that gain. The go-ahead touchdown was a Darnold pass to Aaron Jones for a 5-yard score on the right side of the field and a John Parker Romo point after gives the Vikings the lead with 1:13 left in the game. The Cards wouldn't make it a game-winning drive. Minnesota did have a deficit late in the game but would regain the lead with Cardinals mistakes. For the Vikings, they improve to 10-2 and had 273 total yards in the game.

Next week:

Arizona: vs Seattle
Minnesota: vs Atlanta

TW: 6-0

Indianapolis 25, New England 24

Pick: Patriots

A risky two-point conversion proves the key to a Colts win. Anthony Richardson had 12 of 24 passes completed for 109 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. He also ran for a touchdown while getting nine carries for 48 yards. The passing touchdowns went to Alec Pierce and Jonathan Taylor. The Pierce touchdown was the touchdown that tied the game. Jonathan Taylor had 25 carries for 96 yards in the game. Michael Pittman had five catches for 42 yards. Alec Ogletree had the longest play for the Colts with a catch for a 22-yard gain. The drive that did it for the Colts was a 19-play, 80 yard drive that would cause the Colts to convert on 4th down twice. It was a game that the Colts needed to keep pace in the AFC playoff picture. It was a game where they really shouldn't have won with the mistakes they had but they took their chances and won it. For the Colts, they improve to 6-7 had 253 total yards in the game while winning their first game in Foxboro since 2006.

Drake Maye hit 24 of 30 passes for 238 yards with a touchdown pass to Austin Hooper. Maye did have an interception in the game but made up for it with five carries for 59 yards with a 41-yard run that was the longest play for the Patriots. Rhamondre Stevenson had 18 carries for 73 yards with a 32-yard run the longest for him. Antonio Gibson had seven carries for 62 yards with a touchdown. Hunter Henry was the leading receiver for the Patriots with seven catches for 75 yards. Definitely a gut-wrenching game for the Patriots who really did things right in this one but the offense did enough to win it while the defense faltered when it mattered most. For the Patriots, they drop to 3-10 with 422 total yards in the game. They have double-digit loss seasons for the first time since 1992 and 1993.

Next week:

Indianapolis: Bye
New England: Bye

TW: 6-1

LA Chargers 17, Atlanta 13

Pick: Chargers

Chargers defense rules the day in Atlanta. Justin Herbert hit 16 of 23 passes for 147 yards in the game. JK Scott had a pass completion for a 3-yard gain. Gus Edwards had six carries for 32 yards to be the leading rusher for the Chargers. Ladd McConkey had a great first half in the game with 105 receiving yards but would leave the game with a knee injury. He finished with 117 yards. It was the most for a rookie wide receiver for the Chargers since 1991. Keenan Allen had 104 in 2013. McConkey had the longest play for the Chargers on a 48-yard catch. The Chargers defense had a day with four interceptions, one of them being a pick-six by Tarheeb Still for a 61-yard touchdown. He had two while Derwin James and Marcus Maye had one each. The Chargers had 187 total yards in the game. The offense had a quiet day but defense did its job suffice to say. You obviously can't win games like this sadly. For the Chargers, they improve to 8-4 and take a trip to Kansas City next week.

Kirk Cousins hit 24 of 39 passes for 245 yards with four interceptions. Yikesaroni that's a lot. Bijan Robinson had 26 carries for 102 yards with a touchdown and had the longest run in the game for the Falcons on a 15-yard carry. RayRay McCloud had four catches for 95 yards and had the longest play in the game with a catch that went for a 60-yard gain. It was a rough game for sure for the Falcons. It just shows how much of a wide open division the NFC South is at the moment and they couldn't do anything with it. It leaves open an opportunity for the Buccaneers to do something. Sadly they didn't. For the Falcons, they drop to 6-6 on the season and they put up 350 total yards.

Next week:

LA Chargers: @ Kansas City (Sunday night)

TW: 7-1

Pittsburgh 44, Cincinnati 38

Pick: Steelers

A scoring fest in Cincinnati. Russell Wilson had 29 of 38 passes for 414 yards and three touchdowns and an interception. The interception was returned for a pick-six. George Pickens had one, Pat Friermuth had one and Calvin Austin III had the other touchdown for the scores for the Steelers. Najee Harris had a solid day running the football with 16 carries for 75 yards with a touchdown. He had a 20-yard carry that was the longest run for the Pittsburgh. George Pickens was the leading receiver for the Steelers with three catches for 74 yards with a 36-yard gain with a catch. It's been a while since the Steelers had a passer throw for 400 yards, at least not since the days of Ben Roethlisberger doing it for a living. Most of the damage the Steelers did was in the 2nd quarter with 20 points scored. For the Steelers, they had 520 total yards in the game while improving to 9-3.

Joe Burrow had 28 of 38 passes for 309 yards with three touchdowns and an interception. Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins and Andrei Iosivas were the players that caught the passes for scores. Chase Brown had 12 carries for 70 yards with a rushing touchdown. He had a 40-yard run that was the longest run play for the Bengals. The longest pass play was a catch by Ja'Marr Chase for a 49-yard gain. A sort of rinse and repeat performance by the Bengals as their offense would do its part but the defense would not be able to stop the Steelers. Suffice to say, the one bright spot for the Bengals defense was a pick-six by Cam Taylor-Britt for a 51-yard return that happened on the Steelers first drive of the game. Not sustainable as stops/punts would be better to have. For the Bengals, they drop to 4-8 with their playoff hopes in danger while getting 375 total yards.

Next week:

Pittsburgh: vs Cleveland

TW: 8-1

Seattle 26, NY Jets 21

Pick: Seahawks

Two key touchdowns give the Seahawks a win in New Jersey. Geno Smith hit 20 of 31 passes for 206 yards with a touchdown. The touchdown went to AJ Barner in the 2nd quarter. Kenneth Walker III had 16 carries for 49 yards. Zach Charbonnet had four carries for 28 yards with a touchdown that was the go-ahead touchdown for Seattle. Jaxon Smith-Njigba was the leading receiver for the Seahawks with four catches for 74 yards in the game. DK Metcalf had four catches for 66 yards in the game with a catch for a 30-yard gain that was the longest play for the Seahawks. The win would come with a bit of hardship as the Seahawks were down 21-7 in the game. The Seahawks defense had a boost in scoring with a Aaron Rodgers interception that was grabbed by former Jet Leonard Williams for a 92-yard return. For the Seahawks, they improve to 8-5 on the season with 259 total yards in the game. The Leonard Williams touchdown was the first in NFL history where a pick-six happened for a player that weighed more than 300 pounds.

Aaron Rodgers had 21 of 39 passes for 185 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. The interception was a pick-six as I mentioned before. The touchdowns were to Davante Adams and Isaiah Davis. Breece Hall had 12 carries for 60 yards in the game. Davante Adams had five catches for 66 yards in the game. The longest play for the Jets was a 24-yard play where both Davante Adams and Isiah Davis had plays for that gain. It was a game where the Jets would've won this game if football was a two-quarter game but obviously it is a four-quarter game as they would do nothing in the 2nd half as all of their drives resulted in a punt, a fumble or turnover on downs. Got to win it in all four quarters and play well in all four of them. Surely, Aaron Rodgers should know that. For the Jets, they drop to 3-9 with another losing season for the Jets fans to endure and had 258 total yards.

Next week:

Seattle: @ Arizona
NY Jets: @ Miami

TW: 9-1

Tennessee 19, Washington 42

Pick: Commanders

The Commanders hang points against the Titans. Will Levis hit 18 of 37 passes for 212 yards with two touchdowns. Both of them went to Nick Westbrook-Ikhine in the game for 27 and 17 yard plays. Tony Pollard wouldn't be used a lot in the game as he had eight carries for 35 yards. Once the game became out of reach, the Titans would have to abandon the run game. The longest play in the game was a catch for 30-yard gains by both Tony Pollard and Calvin Ridley. The Titans defense, one of the better units in the game got torched in this one as the Commanders hung 42 points against them. It might be a game where the Titans drop a few spots in the defense rankings in run and pass. For the Titans, they drop to 3-9 on the season while getting 245 total yards in the game.

Jayden Daniels had 25 of 30 passes for 206 yards with three touchdowns and an interception. The interception would result in a Titans field goal. Terry McLaurin had two and Zach Ertz had one for the total three touchdowns thrown by Daniels. The running game by Washington had a solid day as Brian Robinson Jr., Chris Rodriguez Jr., and Jayden Daniels had a rushing touchdown while getting 103, 94 and 34 yards rushing respectively. Brian Robinson's 40-yard run was the longest play for the Commanders that resulted in a touchdown for him. Terry McLaurin was the leading receiver for the Commanders with eight catches for 73 yards. The longest pass play was a catch by Zach Ertz for a 25-yard gain. It was a game where the Commanders would score early and often as they would put up 28 points in the 1st quarter on four consecutive drives. The streak would end as they would miss a field goal on a 12-play drive. For the Commanders, they had 463 total yards in the game while improving to 8-5 to keep pace with the Eagles for the NFC East title race.

TW: 10-1

LA Rams 21, New Orleans 14

Pick: Rams

Two touchdowns in the 4th quarter gives the Rams a win. Matthew Stafford hit 14 of 24 passes for 183 yards with two touchdowns. Puka Nacua and Denard Robinson were the Rams that caught the passes from Stafford for scores. Kyren Williams had 15 carries for 104 yards with a 17-yard run being the longest in the game. Puka Nacua had five catches for 56 yards to be the leading receiver for the Rams. The longest play for the Rams was a catch for a 46-yard gain by Denard Robinson. The Rams would struggle to get points in the 1st half as they would punt twice while turning it over on downs in three drives in the 1st half. They would have better success as they had three touchdown drives out of five. The Rams had 322 total yards in the game while improving to 6-6 on the season.

Derek Carr had 24 of 37 passes for 184 yards with a touchdown. The touchdown pass went to Marquez Valdes-Scantling. A rather favorite target for Carr in most recent games it seems. Alvin Kamara had 23 carries for 112 yards with a 13-yard run being the longest in the game for a run. Taysom Hill was the leading receiver for the Saints with five catches for 37 yards. The longest pass play for the Saints was a Marquez Valdes-Scantling catch for a 28-yard gain. Yards were at a premium for the Saints in this game as well as the Rams but New Orleans had two field goals in the 1st half by Blake Grupe. The touchdown would ensue with a two-point conversion that was a pass to Dante Pettis. The Saints had 327 total yards in the game while dropping to 4-8 on the year.

LA Rams: vs Buffalo

TW: 11-1

Tampa Bay 26, Carolina 23 (F/OT)

Pick: Buccaneers

A Chase McLaughlin field goal staves off the Panthers in overtime. Baker Mayfield had 21 of 33 passes for 235 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions. One of the interceptions happened just before halftime. Kyle Trask had a pass that went for a five yard gain. Mike Evans was the player that caught the pass from Mayfield. Bucky Irving had 25 carries for 152 yards with a rushing touchdown. He had a 43-yard run that was the longest play in the game for the Bucs. Rachaad White had 11 carries for 76 yards with a 38-yard gain as well. Mike Evans was the leading receiver for the Buccaneers with eight catches for 118 yards and had the longest pass play with a catch for a 27-yard gain. The turnovers kept the Panthers in the game but the Bucs would win it with their running game and prowess. The game-winning field goal would come on a Chase McLaughlin field goal from a 30-yard attempt and it would go in. The Buccaneers had 445 total yards in the game. With the Falcons loss, the Buccaneers are tied with the Falcons with a 6-6 record.

Bryce Young had 26 of 46 passes for 298 yards with a touchdown pass and rushed for 17 yards with a touchdown run as well. The touchdown pass went to Adam Thielen for a 25-yard score. Chuba Hubbard had 12 carries for 43 yards in the game. Adam Thielen had eight catches for 99 yards to be the leading receiver for Carolina. The longest play in the game for the Panthers was a Tommy Tremble catch for a 38-yard gain and finished with five catches for 77 yards in the game. The Panthers had a chance to win it in overtime with a drive that looked promising as they had a 1st down and 10 in the Buccaneers 29-yard line but would fail with a Chuba Hubbard fumble on the Bucs 29-yard line. It was a devastating way to lose a game as the Bucs would win the game after five plays. For the Panthers, they had 367 total yards in the game and gave the Buccaneers a good fight. They drop to 3-9 on the season.

Philadelphia 24, Baltimore 19

Pick: Ravens

The Eagles hold off the Ravens in Baltimore. Jalen Hurts had 11 of 19 passes for 118 yards with a touchdown pass to Dallas Goedert for a 17-yard score. Hurts would fumble on a play on the one yard line but would find it and score anyway for a rushing touchdown as well. Saquon Barkley wouldn't have a 200-yard game but would get 23 carries for 107 yards in the game and had a 25-yard run that would go for a touchdown in the 4th quarter. AJ Brown had five catches for 66 yards in the game. The longest pass for the Eagles was a catch by Dallas Goedert for a 17-yard gain that was his touchdown. It would be a game where the Eagles would match physicality of the Ravens and kind of bullied the Ravens in the game. In a battle of running backs, it seems safe to say that Barkley won it. For the Eagles, they had 252 total yards in the game and improve to 10-2 to keep pace with the Lions for the #2 spot in the NFC playoffs.

Lamar Jackson had 23 of 36 passes play for 237 yards with two passing touchdowns and had eight carries for 79 yards. Jackson's 39-yard run was the longest run play for the Ravens. Mark Andrews and Isiah Likely were the players that caught the two passes from Jackson for touchdowns. Derrick Henry had 19 carries for 82 yards in the game. He had no touchdowns in the game. Zay Flowers had three catches for 74 yards in the game. His catch for a 40-yard gain was the longest pass play for the Ravens in the game. It was a game where the Ravens offense would go quiet for most of the game as they were matched against a team that was very similar to them and would get out hit in the game but would keep it close. Time was the biggest enemy for the Ravens in this one. For the Ravens, they had 372 total yards but drop to 8-5 on the season. It's also Lamar Jackson's 2nd loss against an NFC team in his career.

San Francisco 10, Buffalo 35

Pick: Bills

Buffalo pulverizes San Francisco in snowmageddon snowstorm. Brock Purdy hit 11 of 18 passes for 94 yards in the game. Jordan Mason had 13 carries for 78 yards with a 28-yard carry being the longest play in the game. Christian McCaffrey had seve ncarries for 53 yards in the game and then left the game with a knee injury. Isaac Guerendo would get the only touchdown for the 49ers on a 15-yard carry while getting 19 yards in this game. Jauan Jennings had three catches for 56 yards in the game. The longest pass play for the 49ers was a 26-yard catch by Jauan Jennings. It was a game where the 49ers would fight a lot of foes. They wouldn't be able to do anything in offense as their defense would be on the field a lot of time in the game. The loss of Christian McCaffrey via injury just seems like the 49ers might be a lost cause for them to make a return to the playoffs and defend their NFC title. The 49ers had 239 total yards and drop to 5-7 on the season.

Josh Allen hit 13 of 17 passes for 148 yards with two touchdowns and rushed for a touchdown in the game. Mack Hollins and Josh Allen were the recipients of the touchdown passes. The Allen to Allen score happened on a Josh Allen pass to Amari Cooper who threw a lateral back to Josh Allen for a nine-yard touchdown. Kind of wild isn't it. The running game would do the hard work in the falling snow. James Cook had 14 carries for 107 yards with a touchdown and had a 65-yard run being the longest in the game. Ray Davis had 11 carries for 63 yards with a touchdown. Josh Allen had three carries for 18 yards. Dawson Knox had two catches for 56 yards in the game with a catch that went for a 39-yard gain that was the longest pass play for the Bills. The win gives the Bills their 5th straight division title with 372 total yards and improve to 10-2 on the season.

Cleveland 32, Denver 41

Pick: Broncos

The Broncos prevail over the Browns on Monday night. Jameis Winston had 34 of 58 passes for 497 yards with four touchdowns and three interceptions. A good night for him despite the turnovers and the loss. David Njoku had two while Jerry Jeudy nd Nick Chubb had one each for the four total of the passing touchdowns by Winston. The running game wouldn't get a lot of yardage but Jerome Ford did get 41 yards with nine carries. He had a run of 21 yards that was the longest run for the Browns. Jerry Jeudy had nine catches for 235 yards and had a catch for a 70-yard gain that was the longest pass play for the Browns in the game. It was a game where the Browns would get a record for a single game in passing yards but the turnovers would cost the Browns the game. They would keep it close but not quite close enough. For the Broncos, they had 552 total yards while dropping to 3-9 on the season.

Bo Nix had 18 of 35 passes for 294 yards with a touchdowns and two interceptions. Marvin Mims was the player with the catch for a touchdown. Denver's running game would do the scores with Javonte Williams getting a touchdown on a 2-yard run. Michael Burton had a run for a touchdown with a carry that went for an entire yard. Denver's defense would take advantage of an interception and return it for a score by Nick Bonitto for a 71-yard score. Jaleel McLaughlin had 14 carries for 84 yards with an 18-yard run being the longest in the game. The longest pass in the game for Denver was Marvin Mims's touchdown that went a whopping 93 yards. It was also the revenge game for Jerry Jeudy who would've almost had it too if it wasn't for Jameis Winston's interceptions. The Broncos would take advantage of the turnovers but their offense would do its part and keep it from being a game where the Browns would win. For the Broncos, they had 400 total yards in the game while improving to 8-5 on the season with a playoff spot still in their hold.
